Ernie Els Wines—a celebrated South African estate—emerged when golfing legend Ernie Els followed his passion for fine wine in 1999 and, with winemaker Louis Strydom, created the inaugural 2000 vintage, the Signature Bordeaux-style blend Ernie Els WinesFrontier Fine Wines. Officially opened in 2005 in Stellenbosch’s Helderberg region, it has since evolved into an award-winning winery and iconic destination.
